This "Phase One" is a 300 kW DC array consisting of 902 Silfab 330 watt modules with the American Pride/ Chilicon Power CP 720 inverters. North State Solar Energy is close to completing phase one of the 797 kW DC solar array at Sutter Union High School, located at the base of the Sutter Butte Mountain Range. Sutter Union High School - Sutter, California This is one of 8 systems of this type that NSSE has deployed over the past few months, and NSSE continues to provide safe and robust affordable back-up residential power and energy systems for our clients. Our monitoring provides the capability to merge generation, consumption and battery health data. The system operates seamlessly using the Enphase Envoy and Sol- Ark Controls. The system is capable of delivering 36,000 AH in a 24 hour period and can provide sufficient power to keep the Chatham family comfortable in a grid- down situation for prolonged periods. The 16 total 2.15- kW carbon- charge sealed lead acid batteries (by Two Explorers) are coupled to a legacy solar PV system using Enphase US Micro- Inverters, backing up 9.6 kW of AC output. This system is an AC coupled using a Sol- Ark 12 kW grid interactive inverter. NSSE has just completed the installation of the 32 kWh DC battery storage system at the residence of Hugh and Jean Chatham, of San Rafael. Hugh and Jean Chatham - San Rafael, California This system deploys of 936 solar modules and micro inverters, and is expected to generate more than 380,000 kWh in year one of operation. This array is consisted of the Enphase US M 250 inverter and the Solar World USA 290 watt module. This array is designed to offset more than $70,000 in annual electricity costs for Meadow Lane School. The Cascade Union Elementary School District- Meadow Lane School solar array was completed in 2020. ![]() Meadow Lane School - Anderson, California NSSE is grateful for fantastic clients like Ty and Donna Barron. The gravel and sand soils that olive trees love were a major challenge for the placement of solar footings, so a stem wall foundation assembly was deployed at the site. North State Solar Energy just completed the 11.8 kW DC solar array at the orchard, and this array will produce an estimated 16,400 kWh annually, saving the Barron's more than $4,500 in energy costs annually. Ty and Donna Barron have cultivated organic olives for many years in Orland, Ca. ![]() Instead of working with global banks, North State Solar Energy works with local individual investor partners to deliver local institutions the highest value and best products. North State Solar Energy works on behalf of local schools and churches and other non-profit agencies to find a way to assist those organizations to benefit from renewable energy and create cost savings. This project is expected to offset approximately $28,000 in PG&E costs annually and generate an approximate 25% annual cost savings benefit for the Ambrosini School campus, using North State Solar Energy’s unique Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) program.
